Every person in the property ecosystem — owner, tenant, employee, and platform admin — gets the right tools and nothing more.
Role Overview
Property Management Software separates responsibilities so owners can delegate safely. A housekeeper never sees subscription billing; a tenant never sees another tenant's Aadhaar. Permissions are designed for real Indian PG operations.

Owner — The Business Head
Owners register with mobile OTP, complete KYC (Aadhaar, PAN, bank proof), and choose a subscription plan. Once approved, they create properties, invite staff, and see consolidated analytics.
Mr. Sharma opens Property Management Software at 8 AM: Sunrise Boys PG shows 46/48 beds occupied, ₹3.8L collected in June, 4 pending rents, and 1 urgent complaint (AC in Room 204). He assigns the complaint to maintenance staff without visiting the property.
Tenant — Self-Service Guest
Tenants discover a PG online or receive an invite link. They verify mobile OTP, upload photo and Aadhaar, select an available bed, and accept house rules. During stay they pay rent, view utility bills, and raise complaints.
Rahul Kumar joins Sunrise Boys PG in June: registers for Bed 204-C at ₹8,500/month, adds father's number for payment reminders, pays rent on the 5th via UPI, and raises a complaint about Wi-Fi — tracked until the router is reset.
Employee — Delegated Operations
Owners create employees with specific permissions: e.g. "record expenses only," "enter meter readings," "view complaints but not salaries." This mirrors how wardens and accountants work on-site without full owner access.
Common Permission Bundles
- Warden Suresh: Meter readings, complaint updates, tenant check-in — no financial reports.
- Priya (accountant): Expenses, rent reports, payment reconciliation — no staff deletion.
- Front desk: Tenant registration assist, bed assignment — no payroll.
Super Admin — Platform Operator
Super Admin approves new owners, configures subscription plans, activates subscriptions after payment, and monitors platform health. This role is for Property Management Software staff, not PG owners.
How Roles Interact
- Super Admin approves Mr. Sharma's owner account and Growth plan.
- Owner creates Sunrise Boys PG and invites warden Suresh with meter + complaint permissions.
- Tenant Rahul self-registers; warden confirms check-in and bed assignment.
- Accountant Priya records expenses; owner reviews monthly P&L.
- Tenant pays rent; owner sees dashboard update; no manual Excel entry.
